ONGC has added 284 mln tonne of oil and gas reserves in 2008-09

Oil and Natural Gas Corp. declared that it has added a record 284 million tonnes of oil and gas reserves in the 2008-09 fiscal, the highest addition by the company in the past 18 years.

ONGC Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma stated:

Such commendable exploration results in recent years have been made possible due to intensive technological inputs, association of domain experts and committed team work.
