U.S. Natural Gas Futures Only Increase by 1%

Tuesday August 14, 2012, 1:37pm PDT

Reuters reported that U.S. natural gas futures only increased by 1 percent over unexpected nuclear power plant outages.

As quoted in the market news:

As of 9:11 a.m. EDT (1311 GMT), front-month September natural gas futures on the New York Mercantile exchange were at $2.762 per mmBtu, up 3.3 cents, or about 1 percent.
